I’m Elise—leadership coach, consultant, and certified Emotional Intelligence expert—helping high-performing leaders turn their potential into measurable results through people.



Since 2008, I’ve partnered with thousands of leaders across industries including the military (working with U.S. Navy SEALs), healthcare, law enforcement, engineering, architecture, education, and entertainment. My work focuses on one critical gap: the difference between being highly capable—and being truly effective through others.


I began my career in the nonprofit sector, leading an unpaid team of over 300 volunteers. That experience became my leadership “lab,” where I tested what actually drives engagement, ownership, and performance. When my volunteer team began outperforming paid staff, I realized something important: leadership isn’t about authority—it’s about influence.


That insight has shaped my work ever since.


Today, I help intelligent, driven leaders who feel stuck—despite their experience—learn how to lead in a way that unlocks their team’s full potential. Because no matter your industry, your ability to lead people ultimately determines your impact, your results, and your legacy.


Elise holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and is certified in Emotional Intelligence, Core Strengths, and Appreciative Inquiry. She lives in San Diego with her husband, daughter, and golden retriever.
